The facility is intended to conduct the pot growing experiments in various test schemes, using up to 800 pots (standard weight 5 kg of soil). The vegetation hall is supplemented with a number of utility rooms for storing soil and experimental materials, preparation of solutions, drying and preparation of plant material and for the production of demineralized water for pot irrigation.
Roof elements and side walls of the hall are placed on rails, which allows the hall to be opened with the use of electric motors during sunny days by moving the upper structure of the hall outside. The hall is secured with a metal mesh to protect the growing experience against birds. The vegetation hall is located in the Education and Development Center "Pałac", Wrocław-Pawłowice, 58 Pawłowicka street.
